Filing a return

3 quick questions. Pick an answer to see why.

1. Carla submits the 2550Q in eBIRForms and a pop-up says a confirmation email has been sent. What should she do with the pop-up?

BIR accepts a screenshot of that pop-up as proof of filing until the confirmation email arrives, and the bank can accept it when you pay. No 'Received' stamp is needed.

2. Kuting Kitchen filed its 2550Q on 20 October but paid the ₱50,400 on 30 October. Is it on time?

Filing and paying are separate in eBIRForms, and both are due by the deadline. Tax paid after the due date is late, even if the return was filed early.

3. After filing, Carla finds a purchase invoice she left out. What does she do?

A filed return isn't edited. You file an amended return for the same period with the corrected numbers; if the original was filed and paid on time, amending it adds no surcharge.
